Vysmo

Terms

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Short version: the libraries are MIT-licensed (use them in anything, commercial or not). Don't abuse the site. Don't sue us if a library breaks something. California courts handle any dispute.

Who we are

The Vysmo website (vysmo.com) and the @vysmo npm packages are operated by Maesto LLC, 10660 Treena St #230, San Diego, California 92131 ("we", "us"). For anything not covered below, email hello[at]vysmo.com .

The service

"The service" means: the website, the documentation, the authoring tools (text Studio and the playgrounds), and the @vysmo/* packages published to npm. By using any of them you agree to these terms.

Library licensing

Every @vysmo/* package is released under the MIT License. You can use, modify, and redistribute the source in commercial or non-commercial work, with attribution preserved per the LICENSE file in each package. The MIT license also disclaims warranties — read it.

Site content

Documentation, presets, demo media, copy, and the Vysmo brand (logo, name, color system) are © Maesto LLC. You can quote and link to them; you can't republish them as your own.

Accounts

You're responsible for the email address you sign in with and for anything saved under that account. Don't share magic-link URLs. We can suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service (spam, scraping, attempted exploits).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the API endpoints (/api/*) in a way that interferes with normal site operation.
  • Submit other people's email addresses to the newsletter.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, RLS, or other security controls.
  • Use the service to send spam, harass others, or violate any law.

No warranty

The service and the libraries are provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the libraries are bug-free. Production use is at your own risk — test before you ship.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maesto LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or the libraries. Our total liability for any claim is capped at US$100 or the amount you've paid us (which is currently $0).

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account by emailing hello[at]vysmo.com . We can suspend your access if you violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
